Welcome to Our Lady of Grace Parish, a Family of Faith

The Presence of Christ, a Beacon of God’s Love

Our Lady of Grace Parish is a faith filled community that embraces diversity and has adapted to the changing environment while maintaining its core Catholic values and identity. By remembering those who have come before us, we honor the legacy of the diversity of our founders who, molded by God’s blessings and the holy priests He empowered, joined together to establish our church.

Welcome to Our Lady of Grace Parish.

I hope that whatever you are seeking you may find some steps here that will lead you to know the God of Love in your life.

You are welcome to walk with us on our social media channels.

St. Anne Church was established in 1919 by Father William Cleary in response to the needs of a growing and multi-ethnic Catholic community in East Moline. Today, over 100 years later, we are still a faith-filled community that embraces diversity and has adapted to the changing environment while maintaining its core Catholic values and identity.

Catholics first gathered as a community under the spiritual leadership of Fr. John G. Alleman in the 1850’s. St. John’s was formally founded in 1878 as a mission. Our ancestors worked hard to lay the foundation of our parish persevering despite harsh and severe living conditions. Even after the first two churches of St. Mary’s were destroyed by fire, they remained firm in their faith.

“God loves us, God loves you all, and evil will not prevail!”

— Pope Leo XIV

Women of Grace

Our next Women of Grace gathering will be on Thursday, June 4th, at 6pm in Cleary Hall at St. Anne church.

We will be celebrating Spring with a salad potluck meal at 6pm, followed by a planning meeting. Now that we have been together for almost a year, we would like your input on what the upcoming year should include.

Bring a salad, or other complimentary dish (think veggies & dip, fruit, deviled eggs, etc.) along with your ideas. Beverages will be provided, as well as all table settings.

All women of Our Lady of Grace Parish are invited. If you have any questions, please call or text Lona at 309-230-4800.

We hope to see you there!
